Many mothers experience feelings of discouragement and hopelessness. A day at Project Porridge begins with a time of worshipping God through song, prayer and a brief Bible lesson shared by one of the leaders. The children join in the singing or have songs of their own to share with the adults. Leaders of Project Porridge pray and guide women through a Bible lesson that includes a time of sharing and discussion. Women learn that through a relationship with God, along with fellowship with one another, their lives can be transformed. Project Porridge brings hope and encouragement to mothers.
